The Yale Club of Los Angeles and the Yale Alumni Schools Committee invite you to join fellow Yale alums in LA for a summer social in honor of the Class of 2027 as they prepare to leave for New Haven. Catch up with old Yale friends, make lots of new ones, and help us give a warm welcome and send-off to the newest members of our Yale family!
When: Sunday, July 30 from 1:00-4:00 pm
Where: At the home of Deirdre and Charles Simonds ('93) in Pacific Palisades. Address will be provided to registered attendees.
RSVP Required: Capacity is limited. We reached capacity quickly last year and had a long waitlist, so be sure to RSVP early!
Class of 2027 Students: You do NOT need to register via our registration link. Please RSVP by e-mail to the invitation you received from the Admissions Office, or e-mail us.
Details: This event will be held outdoors. We'll have lawn games, lots of Yale swag, an ice cream truck, light munchies and refreshments. A light bar of wine and beer will be available (for 21+ only). Former Yale College Dean Mary Miller and Yale Professor Edward Kamens will give brief remarks.
Attire: Attire is summer casual. Yale gear is optional but always fun for a Yale party!
Cost: Suggested donation of $10 for alumni and their guests.
