Artificial Intelligence: Separating Fact From Fiction

Tech's strongest voices predict an unfathomable Artificial Intelligence (AI) driven future, and year-to-date venture capitalists have funneled $48.2 billion into Artificial Intelligence startups across over 3000 deals. Meanwhile, business leaders face challenges at every stage as they attempt to identify valid opportunities to leverage such game-changing technology.

But what is AI’s true potential? Myriad scenarios proposed by leading strategy and business consultancies range from feasible to fantastic, often misleading organizations, investors, and those of us on the sidelines with unrealistic hype. Which use cases will deliver on their promises and generate returns versus those that don’t have a prayer? And why?

The discussion will demystify AI and its related technologies for those seeking to gain a sound understanding of AI as well as for those who are already investing time, effort, and money in AI initiatives and ventures.

Format: By Zoom. Brief presentation followed by Q&A. Moderated by Yale LA Co-President, Kevin Mark Lodie and author, Dr. Jobst Landgrebe, MD.
