Yale LA Summer Party 2024
We had a fantastic time at our sold-out 2024 Yale LA Summer Party!
LA Yalies welcomed the newest members of our Yale family — the Class of 2028 — as they prepared to depart for New Haven. Recent grads Ramsay Goyal (‘24), Shannon Larsuel (‘21, YSPH ‘22), Isabella Yang (‘22) and Vignesh Namasivayam (‘20) imparted words of wisdom and inspiration to our incoming freshmen.
A huge thank you from the Yale Club of Los Angeles and Yale University to our incredible hosts, Ken and Patty McKenna, for opening their beautiful home to us and making this event truly special. We’d also like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our alumni volunteers for their hard work on this event — including Tony Bancroft (MusM ‘95) Vig Namasivayam (‘20) and Tim Collins (JD ‘95), who literally did much heavy lifting! Your dedication and enthusiasm are what make our Yale community in LA so remarkable.
The event was organized by the Yale Club of LA’s Darlene Kaplan (‘78), Anita Wu (‘03, JD ‘06), and Marcos Luis (‘07).
