On May 25 at 7:30 p.m., the Yale Glee Club will be in town, performing in Pasadena at the First United Methodist Church Pasadena. We hope you will join us to support them!

This event, “Together in Song: A Gathering of Choral Music,” is a benefit concert for the Urban Voices Project, jointly presented by the Yale Glee Club, the Los Angeles Children’s Chorus and the Pasadena Chorale.

The Yale Glee Club (see their website) is Yale’s principal undergraduate mixed chorus and oldest musical organization, currently in its 161st season. In recent seasons, it has won rave reviews in the national press, from The New York Times (“one of the best collegiate singing ensembles, and one of the most adventurous…an exciting, beautifully sung concert at Carnegie Hall”) to The Washington Post (“Under the direction of Jeffrey Douma, the sopranos - indeed, all the voices - sang as one voice, with flawless intonation…their treacherous semitones and contrapuntal subtleties became otherworldly, transcendent even”).
