Join the Yale Clubs of Los Angeles and Orange County for a special evening with the Dean of the Yale School of Music, Jose Garcia-Leon.

This event will be held on Thursday, November 6, at the Mayman Hall of The Colburn School in downtown Los Angeles. A reception will begni at 6pm, and the speaking program will begin at 6:30.

This presentation explores the transformative role of artificial intelligence in music, from composition to live performance, practice, and interpretation. We will look into how machine learning models are enhancing musicians’ technical capabilities and shaping new creative workflows. The talk will also address ethical considerations and the opportunities and challenges AI prsents for the future of music-making.
