LA Alumni Groups

Yale’s “shared interest” groups (or “affinity” groups) offer event programming and other community functions for Yale alumni with a shared interest or affiliation. That interest or affiliation can be anything — including profession, ethnicity, sport and hobby. If Yalies are passionate about it, chances are there's a group for it. The Yale Club of LA supports the alumni interest groups in the LA area however it can, including by co-sponsoring or helping to promote events and activities, and helping alumni form and grow new interest groups.

If you would like to find out more about working with the Yale Club of LA to start up or promote a new shared interest group (or an LA chapter of an existing group), please contact our President Anita Wu.

YaleWomen LA

YaleWomen of Los Angeles is an organization which originated from the 2010 celebration of 40 years of women at Yale.

This growing group of dynamic and inspiring women meets for various events where they can catch up with old friends and get to know new ones.  These free events around town include salon-style Q&As discussing the work of our members from authors, artists, scientists, and businesswomen, and are great opportunities for networking and support.
